Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and finish carpentry
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Complete daily safety reports and project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related field experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Flexible schedule including occasional overtime and weekend work
- Prefer experience with concrete, masonry, or framing
