Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, moving materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction site preparation and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Operate light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related field experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
