Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with precision and safety protocols
- Install and maintain structural components following blueprints and engineering specifications
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain organized, hazard-free work environments
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and electricians to meet project milestones
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality inspections
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Blueprint reading and basic measurement skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Milwaukee County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
