Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Transport and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery (e.g., jackhammers, generators) safely and efficiently.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing waste and ensuring compliance with site safety standards.
- Support Crew: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Demolition: Participate in light demolition tasks and debris removal as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for long periods, including lifting, standing, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not strictly required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different job sites.
