Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks including digging, carrying materials, and site cleanup.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools such as shovels, saws, and levels.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites.
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements and measurements calculations accurately.
- Communicate clearly with foremen and crew members to ensure project efficiency.
- Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.
