Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, set forms, and prepare construction sites for upcoming work.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and projects.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings when required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction labor experience is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read basic instructions.
- Mindset: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach.
