Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and jackhammers with proper certifications
- Assist skilled tradespersons with tasks like concrete pouring, framing, and demolition
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or relevant trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction terminology
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
