Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials: Safely transport construction supplies, tools, and materials to and from the work site using dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts.
- Site preparation: Clear debris, level ground, and perform general cleanup to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Operate equipment: Assist in the operation of basic construction machinery and power tools under the supervision of skilled operators.
- Assist tradespeople: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, masons, and other construction professionals.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and site-specific regulations at all times.
- Maintain site cleanliness: Keep work areas organized and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- No experience required: We welcome applicants with no prior construction experience; training is provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time hours.
- Basic tools: Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Valid ID: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
