Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and rough carpentry.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites to maintain workflow.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all project instructions and safety protocols strictly.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required (we train the right candidates).
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety equipment, and procedures.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
