Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the work area and perform basic repairs as directed.
- Documentation: Assist in recording daily progress and material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools and safety gear.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
