Responsibilities
- Assist with Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, moving materials, and removing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to ensure smooth workflow.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Crew Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Measurement: Help with basic measurements and reading simple site plans or blueprints.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Attendance: Consistent attendance is required for full-time positions.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction for measurements.
