Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery, including jackhammers, saws, and generators, under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed to ensure project efficiency.
- Cleanup & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for site travel.
- Tools: Basic hand tools and safety gear are provided, but familiarity with them is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
