Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and project needs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, forklifts, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Blueprint Reading: Understand basic site layouts and instructions provided by site supervisors.
- Physical Labor: Perform digging, leveling, and general construction tasks as required.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for long periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Safety: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus.
