Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials and tools for daily operations.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and waste management.
- Ensure job sites remain organized and adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as required.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or site plans when directed.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long hours.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to work.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
