Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handlingMaintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
