Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup activities
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Operate light machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with proper training
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of construction labor experience
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
