Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.) with proper certification
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA and California safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) to ensure seamless workflow
- Inspect completed work for quality compliance and report issues to supervisors
- Transport materials and equipment using company vehicles as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily with frequent bending, climbing, and kneeling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
