Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and installing construction materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
