Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall, and concrete work.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Transport materials to and from work areas using dollies, forklifts, or hand trucks.
- Perform basic site measurements and ensure work meets project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
- No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
