Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed by supervisors.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Reporting: Identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site manager.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are the only requirements.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time shifts.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Team Player: Must work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work on-site in Houston, TX.
