Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow precise construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and excavation tasks as needed
- Inspect and report equipment maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
