Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs) and sustained physical labor
- Report safety hazards immediately to site managers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
