Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely including jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Transport materials using equipment like forklifts and wheelbarrels
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to submit to background checks and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime when needed
