Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup activities
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and verbal instructions
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, or other manual equipment
- Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driverâs license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work early morning/weekend shifts as needed
