Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and basic tasks
- Operate hand/power tools including saws, drills, and demolition equipment under supervision
- Read blueprints and project specifications to understand task requirements
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and report potential hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
