Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with tasks
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans
- Perform general site maintenance and cleanup operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred, training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
