Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and site preparation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (drills, saws, levels)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by clearing debris and securing equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload trucks and transport materials to designated work areas
- Perform basic excavation, grading, and concrete finishing tasks
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
