Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (backhoes, forklifts, excavators)
- Install and remove temporary safety barriers and scaffolding
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and proper waste disposal
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Class B CDL or ability to secure within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction equipment
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
