Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and prolonged standing
- Report project progress and material needs to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments (heat, humidity, noise)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are non-negotiable
- Team player with clear communication skills
