Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and demolition tasks
- Operate basic hand/power tools and construction equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and material transport
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Participate in team-based construction projects across residential/commercial sites
Qualifications
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Wichita metro area
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
