Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic equipment like saws, drills, and demolition tools under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized job site conditions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Support various trades (carpentry, masonry, concrete work) as needed
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and physical stamina for outdoor labor
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Portland metro
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- No construction experience necessary – training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
