Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor on construction sites including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, and vehicles
- Maintain organized work areas and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for lateness
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily with minimal breaks
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
