Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and move them to work sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under supervision to perform basic construction tasks.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized environment for the crew.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Demolish structures and remove debris from job sites.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
