Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, grading, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, under supervision.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- OSHA 10: OSHA 10 General Industry certification is a plus.
