Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for use on site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various building tasks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and project instructions from supervisors.
- Conduct daily inspections of tools and equipment to ensure functionality.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating material quantities.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
