Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing waste and ensuring safety compliance.
- Support Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other specialized crews as needed.
- Documentation: Assist in tracking daily tasks and reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is highly preferred.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential overtime.
