Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging trenches, leveling grounds, and clearing debris.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assembly: Help assemble forms, frameworks, and structures using hand and power tools.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, overtime, and weekend work as required by project schedules.
