Responsibilities
- Perform various manual labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by following all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, tiling, or flooring as directed by the site supervisor.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and project plans.
- Demolish structures and clear debris from job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
