Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely handle and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to support skilled tradespeople.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets our high-quality standards and safety regulations.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing waste and ensuring safety hazards are minimized.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new construction techniques are required.
- Valid ID: Must provide a valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations accurately.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols (PPE, OSHA guidelines) is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable for full-time, immediate hire positions.
