Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment for use on site.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Physical Duties: Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50+ lbs), carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety gear is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, overtime, and weekend work as needed.
