Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with project-specific tasks and equipment setup
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure proper inventory management
- Perform daily site inspections and report hazards or equipment issues
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for absences
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience with hand/power tools or construction environments preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
