Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various project duties.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Unload and organize materials from delivery trucks at the job site.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders to understand project requirements.
- Perform site cleanup and waste removal as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required (we provide on-the-job training).
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures is highly desirable.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
