Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (Job Site Cleanliness).
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Demolition & Preparation: Assist in light demolition, digging, and preparing surfaces for construction work.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safety Mindset: A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.
