Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including digging, loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with job site preparation and cleanup.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and site plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and store them properly.
- Perform minor site duties such as spreading asphalt, concrete finishing, or general site maintenance.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs) on a frequent basis.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work at various heights and in confined spaces as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
