Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision after brief training.
- Site Prep: Prepare construction sites by digging, cleaning, or setting up temporary structures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
