Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, jackhammers, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Assist carpenters and electricians with specialized tasks
- Perform quality checks and documentation of work completed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Class B CDL preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC/Georgia
