Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and prepare work areas for daily operations.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and supervisor specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
