Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, by fetching tools and materials.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing waste and following site safety protocols at all times.
- Formwork: Help with the setting and dismantling of forms for concrete pouring and structural work.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We provide full training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on feet.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Safety Conscious: A commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
