Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site clearing, digging, grading, and preparing surfaces for construction.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials using heavy machinery, forklifts, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervision to perform basic construction tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe work environment.
- Team Support: Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Lifting Ability: Capable of lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Safety Mindset: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and following instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
