Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and clean-up
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Transport materials to job sites using company vehicles or equipment
- Complete daily time logs and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexible availability for early mornings and weekend shifts
